    All visitors to Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center (FNMOC) must submit a Visit Request at least 2 business days prior to visit (please see attached Visitor & Vetting Procedures for more detail information).

  • We are located on the Naval Support Activity Monterey (NSAM) Annex 7 Grace Hopper Avenue, Monterey, CA. We are not located at the Naval Postgraduate School (a common mistake). Please feel free to contact us at 831-657-1551 if you are having trouble locating our organization.
  • All visitors to FNMOC must check-in at the Security Department main desk located in lobby of Building 702.
  • Depending upon the current Force Protection Condition, the gate may be closed when you arrive. If the gate is closed, please contact the Command Duty Officer at the phone number posted on the yellow telephone box located at the entry point outside the gate.
